Honey~Lemon Pepper Baked Drumettes

As I wandered in the meat market a few weeks ago I noticed a sale on chicken drumettes not able to resist them I bought 8 pounds. I brought them home, soaked them in white vinegar and sea salt, rinsed them well, dried them and place them in a large mixing bowl. I  squeezed a whole lemon and zest added into the bowl then added black pepper, 1/4 cup of Pure Honey, added fresh dill, parsley and hand mixed all ingredients. (remember to wash hands thoroughly after touching raw poultry).

Transferred all ingredients into an non stick baking dish and baked at 400F for 40 minutes.

It was my intent to let them cool down then freeze them for a few freezer meals on the go. They looked and smelled so good I ended up using half for supper that night. They were flavorful and easy to prepare. So these lil’ hen chicken drumsticks were a huge hit!

You can use any chicken parts with this easy recipe! Enjoy.
