Lemon-Chicken-Bacon Cheese Dip

Delicious hot dip for any function! You’ll need one 6-8 ounce canned chicken, drain juices and place in a mixing bowl, break the chicken apart with two forks, add one lemon zest and juice, one teaspoon black pepper, 3 slices (I use pre-cooked bacon slices microwave one minute to crisp up) bacon cut into small pieces, 2 tablespoon sour cream (or you can use plain yogurt, or mayonnaise), stir well after adding each ingredient. Using your favorite cheese (I use a blend of grated parmesan, mozzarella, pepper jack) and add into mixture, stir with a sturdy spoon. Transfer into a oven safe oval or square baking dish sprayed with your favorite cooking spray, smooth out with an offset spatula and place into a 400 F hot oven on the middle rack and bake 10-12 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

We love toasted pita chips, tortilla chips, variety of crackers to use with this scrumptious dip!
