Greetings to all, some new recipes using Oranges!

Wonderful Oranges…So many uses…

Orange-Mint Sweet Tea—– Serves 4——— Prep time 7 minutes

4 cups water, 4 single tea bags into boiling water, allow tea to steep several minutes. In a pitcher add 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 Washed Valencia orange for zest and juice, 2 whole fresh mint leaves (leave whole). Add tea to pitcher (remember to remove tea bags) and stir well. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving over ice cubes. Enjoy! This is so delicious. Mint is optional and can be omitted if desired.

Orange-Lemon-Honey Biscuits—– Serves 4———- Prep/bake time 8-10 minutes

1-8 oz. Buttermilk Biscuits, 1/2 stick sweet cream butter (softened), 1 orange for zest and juice (Valencia Orange), 1 whole washed Lemon for zest and juice, 2 tablespoons honey. In a mixing bowl add, orange zest, lemon zest and juices from both citrus fruits, add softened butter, honey and stir with a spatula. Open can of Biscuits, and place in a baking dish (it is okay if they touch each other while baking). Spread orange-lemon-honey butter mixture over the top of each biscuit with an offset spatula, pop them in the 400 F oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. You can use leftover citrus butter after they bake in the oven to add more delicious topping. Enjoy, these are quick and easy and great for breakfast or brunch.
