We love pancakes and waffles (french toast, too) in our household this strawberry-lemon butter is so delicious along with homemade strawberry syrup!
You’ll need one quart fresh strawberries hulled, diced and placed in a mixing bowl, the juice from 2 fresh lemons and their zests, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and one stick of softened butter. Get in the bowl with a potato smasher and take out the day’s frustrations, smash away! Using a sturdy spatula stir well to combine and pack into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
