Lemon-Orange-Pineapple Crisps

  • Easy homemade chips using flour tortillas. I use 8″ flour tortillas. You’ll need one Valencia orange (washed) for zest and juice, 1 lemon (washed) for zest and juice, 1 – 5 ounce can pineapple juice, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon honey, add zests and juices, honey, sugar into a mixing bowl and stir well. Transfer to a small saucepan and on low heat simmer several minutes to dissolve sugar and meld flavors. Brush both sides of flour tortilla and lay on a prepared baking sheet pan or non stick, you can fit several on a baking sheet, pop in the oven at 400 F 10-12 minutes flipping them around 5-6 minutes.  Allow to cool a bit and add more mixing bowl ingredients and allow to sit and air dry. Cut into triangles. We love to scoop sorbet, rainbow sherbet with these gems! They are utterly delicious.

Give them a try, they are easy to make and store well in an airtight container.

In closing I wish you Good Health. Cheryl “cheffie Cooks” Wiser. All Things Citrus. See YOU!
